The keyholding service is primarily designed to attend the premises to investigate either intruder or fire alarms on behalf of the client, thus avoiding the necessity to call out members of the clients staff.
Furthermore, to attend unoccupied premises owned by the client that are not usually used or for sale. However, the service can be deployed for any reason other than electronically notified devices, by telephoning the communications centre and identifying the caller through a series of codes.
The officers are trained the SITO standards, vetted in accordance with BS 7858 and will be licensed from 2005 in accordance with the Private Security Act
In the event of an alarm activation the officer will attend the premises and check the area of concern via the control panel. He/she will attend the area and correct the problem, unless further action is required.
Alamo has its own support contractors if boarding up or any remedial working is required, unless the client prefers to use its own suppliers which can be agreed at the outset of the agreement. If necessary our staff will liaise with your nominated emergency contact and leave a full incident report recording his/her findings or actions taken.
This service can also be utilised for emergency call outs to let others in or take specific actions that maybe required. The service can also be used to allow other bona fide people entry to and from any location.
The officers will fully co-operate to support the emergency services at all times and if necessary attend Court proceedings that may prevail later.
